Il Segno in Galileo’s Diagramma della Verità

From Santi’s earthly tomb with demon’s hole
‘Cross Rome the mystic elements unfold

The path of light is laid, the sacred test,
Let angels guide you on your lofty quest.

According to Dan Brown’s book Angels & Demons, the Illuminati had a secret meeting place in Rome and they called it the Church of Illumination. The brotherhood had to grow but could not afford to risk their secrecy by making their whereabouts known. The Illuminati made a map directing the scientists to their sanctuary. However, this map isn’t an actual map on paper but a path with markers that the hopefuls of the brotherhood had to follow to reach the Church of Illumination. This path was called The Path of Illumination. This path was of course hidden and only certain people would have the ability to track the markers. This also served as a kind of initiation to ensure that only the brightest scientists arrived at their door.

The markers along the path were statues that were also called The Altars of Science. They should be scattered inconspicuously in Rome so that the Vatican will never suspect that they are the Illuminati’s. These markers should also be a subtle tribute to one of the four elements of science (believed in 1600s): earth, air, fire, and water.

This posed a difficulty because one would not know where the path starts. So the sign, il segno, was hidden in Galileo’s Diagramma della Verità, Diagram of Truth. This segno would point the first marker.

503 is a special number in the Illuminati. In Roman numerals, this is DIII. The Diagramma had a direct connection to this special number. Diagramma is Galileo’s DIII, D-three. DI being his Diàlogo and DII being is Discorsi.

The sign was said to be written in lingua pura, the pure language. The lingua pura was not mathematics, but English. Il segno, the passage written above, was written in English. This was done so because this was the language the Vatican did not control in the 1600s. Nobody spoke English in Italy then. This made is it easier to disguise.

The poem above was written by John Milton, another Illuminatus. The poem was an iambic pentameter — five couplets of alternating stressed and unstressed syllables. This had direct reference again to the Illuminati since the sacred Illuminati numbers are 5 and 2.

Raphael Santi was an architect and he designed and built numerous tombs. “Santi’s earthly tomb” was similar to  saying “Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa” and “Michelangelo’s David”. The “demon’s hole” or a buco diàvolo refers to an undercroft or crypt. A demon’s hole is an ancient term for a massive burial cavity located in a chapel underneath another tomb. This is also called an ossuary annex. Raphael Santi designed only one of these tombs with demon’s holes. This is called the Chigi Chapel. It used to be called Capella della Terra — Chapel of the Earth.
