Soft gold hair flying about me while I do a pirouette
Laughing and singing of my love
Looking at my angel with shining eyes
Serenading him with my harp
I was banished from heaven.
Let my heart be eternally consumed by fire
When I thought I could forever dance on clouds.
No beanstalk now, not ever.
Could I not see my angel’s eyes anymore?
Did I falter in my performance?
Was my heart too small?
I do not know of my sin.
